The use of milled profiled strips – often referred to as contoured strips – is intended to replace necessary processes such as embossing or to enable technical solutions for the manufacture of stamped parts in the first place. In the meantime, the use of profiled strips has become widespread in almost all areas where parts are produced from strips by means of a punching operation.
